About Us
Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
Lit Bridge is a non-profit initiative designed to combat the literacy and numeracy crisis affecting underprivileged elementary school students in Chicago. Founded by Jeremy Fuller, a rising 11th grader at Glenbrook South High School, the program moves beyond the limitations of reactive tutoring to deliver a proactive, culturally relevant core curriculum. Our program is built on a unique suburban-urban partnership model, connecting student communities to foster mutual growth and understanding. By partnering with both Chicago Public Schools (CPS) and suburban schools, we aim to create a sustainable ecosystem of learning and support, with a vision to eventually scale our impact through a digital platform.

Our Story
"Ever since I was young, I have always wanted to help people. Growing up, I had many services, and many teachers doubted my abilities as a student. Despite my early struggles, I was eventually able to gain support from many teachers, who got me to where I am today. I want to give that same support to students who are unable to receive the quality education that everybody deserves." - Jeremy Fuller, Founder and President

Meet the Founder

Hello! My name is Jeremy Fuller and I am a current junior attending Glenbrook South High School. I am involved in many service clubs and love to make a difference when I get a chance. In my free time, I like to spend time with friends and family: playing board games, walking my dog, etc. My favorite food is Pasta! I founded Lit Bridge after seeing how many elementary students across Chicago were struggling with reading confidence and basic literacy skills. Growing up, I had access to supportive teachers and tutors, and I want to help kids who don't have that same support.
